Dr. Palmer Poutre grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and made the move to Bozeman in 2004. She first joined Baxter Creek as a technician in 2010 while working on her undergraduate degree, earning a B.S. in Equine Science from Montana State University in 2011. She went on to attend St. George’s University for veterinary school, completing her clinical training at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Poutre is delighted to be back in Montana — and back at Baxter Creek. Outside the clinic, she’s usually outside with her dogs or spending time with horses, which she loves dearly.
