Do you offer emergency or urgent care?

Yes. Baxter Creek Veterinary Clinic provides same-day urgent care during regular business hours. If your pet requires immediate attention, please call us at (406) 587-5537. We’ll do our best to fit you in as quickly as possible.

How can I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled in three easy ways:

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. (Please note: American Express is not accepted.)

Yes. Our team will always provide a detailed estimate before performing any procedures or treatments. We value transparency and want you to feel informed about your pet’s care every step of the way.

Do you offer spay and neuter services?

Yes. We provide spay and neuter surgery for both dogs and cats. These procedures promote long-term health, prevent unwanted litters, and reduce the risk of certain diseases and behavioral issues.

How do you handle surgical procedures and anesthesia?

Your pet’s safety is our top priority. We use advanced anesthetic monitoring technology and individualized protocols to ensure every patient receives the safest and most effective care possible.

What types of pets do you treat?

Our veterinarians specialize in caring for dogs and cats. We do not treat exotic animals or livestock at this time.

Do you accept new clients?

Absolutely! We’re always happy to welcome new pets and their families. To make your first visit easier, please complete our New Client Form before your appointment.

Do you accept pet insurance?

Yes. While we do not bill pet insurance providers directly, we are happy to assist with any necessary documentation for reimbursement. Please bring your insurance details to your visit so we can help ensure a smooth process.

What should I bring to my pet’s first visit?

Please bring:

  • Your pet’s previous medical records, if available
  • A list of current medications or supplements
  • Any questions or concerns you have about your pet’s health

If you’re a new client, completing our New Client Form ahead of time will help us get started more quickly.

Can I request a specific veterinarian?

Yes. We understand that pets and owners often develop relationships with specific veterinarians, and we will do our best to accommodate your request when scheduling appointments.

Do you offer acupuncture or alternative therapies?

Yes. We offer veterinary acupuncture performed by certified professionals as part of our integrated approach to pain management, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
